During this Pub Talk, we will look at the power of documentary film and the ways that it can be used to examine, challenge, and reshape public understanding of mass incarceration in the state of Texas. Through personal stories and behind the scenes insights, we'll explore how filmmakers navigate ethical storytelling, amplify voices from within the prison system, and confront the policies and narratives that sustain it.
